Membership Renewal Terms & Conditions

If you are a renewing member please retain and utilise your current membership card to obtain your membership benefits.

For any new membership application, a membership card will be needed to obtain benefits, please ensure you have added a membership card option to your order.

Memberships cards can only be utilised by the paid for membership holder.

Discount on room hire is only available to members who have held membership for more than 1 calendar year.

Your Membership applies for a Cricket season April to March in any calendar year. 

Room Hire Terms & Conditions

This page outlines the Terms & Conditions for hiring a select room at Milnrow Cricket Club. Please ensure you read the correct T&C’s for your allocated room at the club before confirming your booking.

Function Room – Room Hire Contract

This contract relates to the hire of the function room on the agreed date confirmed by email from The Club.

Under the terms of this contract, Milnrow Cricket Club Function Room (hereafter referred to as “The Club”) agree to hire the room to the hirer whom understanding that the following Terms and conditions are met:-

  1. Room hire fee is paid by The Hirer in full to The Club as conformation of the booking.
  2. Additional services, payments are due 4 – 6 weeks prior to the function date. Should balance payment go overdue the club reserves the right to cancel the booking.
  3. Any additional cleaning costs will be incurred by The Hirer as a result of the room being left in an unacceptable condition.
  4. You must not bring or consume your own food or beverages on the premises. Any persons found not adhering to this, will be asked to vacate the premises forthwith.
  5. The hirer is personally responsible for reimbursing The Club with the full cost of making good any damage to any fixtures or fittings anywhere within the Club that is caused by any person attending. (either accidental or otherwise).
  6. The Hirer is personally responsible for the behaviour of all persons attending.
  7. Any person who has been refused membership of the Club may not attend.
  8. Any person whose membership of the Club has been terminated or who is currently suspended may not attend.
  9. Children are allowed to attend under adult guidance at all times.
  10. Members of the board and The Club Management team reserve the right to enter Function Rooms at any time.
  11. Members of the board and The Club Management team reserve the right to request any person attending, whose behaviour or presence is deemed not to be in the best interests of the Club, to leave the premises forthwith.
  12. The room must be vacated no later than 15 minutes after the agreed hire times.
  13. In order to ensure that Health and Safety Regulations are fully complied with, only food supplied by the Club’s own catering partners may be consumed. (Unless otherwise agreed in writing by The Club Management team or member of the board and with proof of public liability insurance.
  14. The hirer to supply identification upon request.
  15. The use of any outside company becomes the sole responsibility of The Hirer. The Club agreement must be done in writing before any booking conformation, such additions are to be supervised at all times by The Hirer and public liability insurance must be received by The Club before the day of the Function.

Rear Lounge Area – Room Hire Contract

This contract relates to the hire of the function room on the agreed date confirmed by email from The Club.

Under the terms of this contract, Milnrow Cricket Club Function Room (hereafter referred to as “The Club”) agree to hire the room to the hirer whom understanding that the following Terms and conditions are met:-

  1. Room hire fee is paid by The Hirer in full to The Club as conformation of the booking.

  16. Background music can be played by the club but the hire of outside entertainment is forbidden.

100 Club Terms and Conditions

  1. Overview
  • Members contribute £10 per month to participate.
  • There are 100 numbers available (1–100).
  • Each number is entered into a monthly prize draw.
  • Members can hold more than one number.
  1. Prize Fund & Distribution
  • 50% of total monthly funds go into the prize pot.
  • 50% of total funds are retained and building to support the Cricket or Members.

Prize Breakdown

  • From the 50% prize pot.
  • 1st Prize: 60%
  • 2nd Prize: 25%
  • 3rd Prize: 15%

(To the nearest £10).

For example, with 65 members:

Total collected: £650

Prize Fund: £325

  • 1st Prize: £195
  • 2nd Prize: £80
  • 3rd Prize: £50
  1. Draw Process
  • Three winning numbers will be drawn randomly on the last Thursday of each month.
  • Winners must hold the drawn number at the time of the draw (paid).
  • If a drawn number is unsold, the prize is not awarded and instead rolls over.
  1. Rollover Rules
  • If any prize (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) is not won, the amount rolls over to the next month’s 1st prize.
  • Multiple rollovers accumulate and are added to the next eligible 1st prize pot.
  • If the 1st prize is unclaimed in a rollover month, the full amount (original + rollover) continues to roll until claimed. The maximum 1st prize will be capped at £1000.
  • Any additional Rollover money (above the £1000 cap) will be added to the 1st Prize of the next draw.
  1. Transparency & Oversight
  • All draws will be conducted fairly and transparently within a witnessed environment.
  • Drawn using an independent random number generator.
  • A record of past winners and rollovers will be kept and shared with members monthly.
  • The organisers will publish the number of active entries and total funds each month.
  1. Joining & Leaving
  • Anyone can join at any time if numbers are available (aged over 18).
  • New entries must be paid before the draw to count.
  • Unpaid number(s) will be made available.
  • If all 100 numbers are sold, the prize pot will increase proportionally (e.g., £500 if all 100 pay £10).
  • The organisers reserve the right to amend the rules.
