Milnrow Cricket Club was founded in 1857 and plays all home matches at Ladyhouse. Our first, second and third teams, as well as all our junior teams from under 9s to under 17s play in the Greater Manchester Cricket League.
We are a members club and have over 800 members. New members are always welcome. Please see the Membership section for further information about becoming a member or renewing your membership.
Our function room is available to hire for private parties and functions of all kinds.

We are always on the lookout for keen cricketers, no matter your age or how good you are. We are a fully inclusive club which promotes good sportsmanship throughout all age groups and senior teams. Still unsure, we train every Tuesday & Thursday in summer (senior teams) and junior training is Friday evenings. Come on down... we're a friendly bunch!

Located in Milnrow Village between the town of Rochdale, birth place of the modern Co-operative movement and Oldham Town remembered as the cotton spinning capital of the world. Our function room along side our welcoming lounge, Milnrow Cricket Club is proud to boast it’s 150 years of village history. The Ladyhouse Suite has been newly refurbished in 2020 and can accommodate a wedding breakfast for up to 130 guests or buffets for up to 150 guests.

Thank you for taking the time to look at our website. Our fantastic cricket club, located at the foot of the Pennines in the picturesque village of Milnrow, has been in existence since 1857. The beautiful ground at Ladyhouse Lane has been home to some of the best cricket seen at club level and some great professional and amateur players have played here over the years. Recently the club has needed to move with the times and is now more than just a cricket club. Today, whilst cricket is and always will be integral to our success, we are now a Community Sports and Social Club offering a wide range of sports, leisure and social activities for people of all ages.

We are constantly re-investing in our future at Milnrow Cricket Club and with the addition of a thriving junior cricket section, a first-class coaching system and sports such as tennis and boulles available on site, we are confident that we will retain our status as one of the premier community sports facilities in the North West.
The community is at the heart of what we do at Milnrow Cricket Club and we are at the heart of the community!

Room Hire…
Thank you for considering Milnrow Cricket club for your Event or Celebration, we look forward to welcoming you properly at the club.Situated in the village of Milnrow with easy access by road tram and only two minutes from the M62. The large function room has undergone a full refurbishment for 2021 which can accommodate up to 150 guests, now available for smaller functions (under 70 guests) we have our club lounge. Both rooms have access to our outside space including play area and onsite parking.
